Clam Chowder

2 cans clams diced or minced
1 recipe Cream of Potato soup
1/2 tsp thyme

Dad makes the Cream of Potato Soup recipe, omitting pimentos, and using juice drained from clams as part of the milk for sauce. He adds the clams, and lets simmer a few minutes. DE-Olish! For an extra rich (but, fattening dish) you can use half and half, instead of milk.
