Sauce (Steak )

Mushroom & Onion Sauce

1/2 lb mushrooms fresh
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup red wine

Clean and slice mushrooms. Mince garlic. Sauté mushrooms, onions and garlic in butter for 10 minutes until transparent. Add mustard & salt & pepper. Add red wine and let simmer a few minutes. Add any meat dripping off steak or roast up to 1/2 cup (optional) Serve as an accompaniment to beef roast or with steak.
