Double recipe for frosting cake
2 Tbsp butter melted
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 cup whipping cream
1 - 2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla

Melt butter in pan, add brown sugar, salt and whipping cream and heat mixture until boiling, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm and stir in vanilla and powdered sugar to correct consistency for frosting.
