Swiss Steak

2 1/2 hours Pre-heat oven to 350 Large baking dish
4 lbs Swiss Steak
1/2 cup flour
2 Tbl salt
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
2 large onions sliced
1 small can mushrooms

Cut steak into individual pieces. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and pound mixture into steak using edge of sturdy saucer. Brown in oil on both sides. Place in baking dish. Top with Worcestershire sauce, onions, tomato sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste. Bake covered 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees or until meat is tender when pierced with fork. Swiss steak can be cooled and frozen. Reheat in microwave or oven, this seems to enhance the flavor. Reheat 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
