Butterscotch Bars

1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup pecans chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Melt margarine in saucepan. Add sugar and bring to a boil over low heat stirring constantly. Cool slightly, drop in eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cut into bars when cooled.
