6 lbs apples
3 lbs sugar
1 gallon apple cider

Peel, core and slice apples. Boil cider until it is half of what you started with. Add apples and cook until thick over very low heat. When nearly done, add sugar. Can while hot. Makes 8 - 10 pts.
