Bread (Quick )

English Muffin Bread

35 minutes 375 degrees
5 cups flour divided
2 pkgs yeast
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 cups milk 120 - 130 degrees
1/2 cup water warm
cornmeal

Combine 2 cup flour, yeast, sugar, salt and baking soda. Add warm milk & water: beat on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat on high 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour (batter will be stiff). Do Not Knead. Grease two bread pans. Sprinkle with cornmeal. Spoon dough into pans and sprinkle cornmeal on top. Cover and let rise until double. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans immediately and cool on racks
