Bread Pudding

1/4 cup brown sugar
3 slices bread, buttered & cubed
raisins handful
2 cups milk
3 eggs slightly beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla

Add to the brown sugar, the bread and raisins. Mix together milk and the slightly beaten eggs, then add: salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Add to bread mixture. Cook over boiling water for 1 hour. Reduce heat when water boiling. Invert on plate. Best eating when warm.
