Southern Pecan Bars

Sift together:

corn syrup

powdered sugar
Cream butter and sugar, add the dry ingredients. Mix. Stir in the pecans and mix well. Pat firmly into bottom
of greased 12x8x2 pan. Bake a 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
PECAN TOPPING; Beat eggs until foamy, add corn syrup, brown sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, and chopped
pecans. Mix thoroughly. Pour over partially baked crust. Bake 350 for 25-30 min. Let cool in pan. Cut into
bars and roll in pwd. sugar.
