Brunswick Stew

8 chicken breasts cooked and chopped
1 1/2 cups onions finely chopped
1 cup Green Peppers finely chopped
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 16 oz cans tomatoes chopped, do not drain
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup water
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 lb red potatoes peeled and cubed
16 oz can pork and beans
1 Tbsp hot sauce
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric ground
1/2 tsp pepper
16 oz can corn drained
16 oz can lima beans drained

1. Place chicken in large Dutch oven, cover with water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until chicken is done. Remove & drain chicken, allow to cool, then chop. 2. In Dutch oven, sauté onion & pepper in oil until tender. Add chopped chicken, tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce. 3. Combine 1 c. water and flour, mix until smooth. Stir flour mixture into chicken mixture. Add potatoes & next 5 ingredients, stirring well. Cover and cook over medium heat 20-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender (stir occasionally). 4. Add corn & lima beans and cook 10 minutes until thoroughly heated.
