Corn Meal Mush

10- 15 minutes Chill for several hours.
2 3/4 cups water
1 cup water cold
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar

Bring 2 3/4 cup water to rapid boil. Combine remaining ingredients and add gradually to boiling water. Cook until thick. Cover. Cook over low heat 10 - 15 minutes. Pour into greased bread pan. Chill several hours. Slice thin and fry in butter. Serve with butter and syrup.
