Butterscotch Pie

Pre-heat oven to 375
8 inch pie pan

brown sugar

flour

water
dash
salt

eggs
separated

vanilla

butter

sugar
Cook brown sugar, flour, water & salt until thick. Beat egg yolks, add small amount of hot mixture to egg
yolks, mix and return to pan. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into BAKED pie shell. Top with meringue made
with 3 egg whites and 1/2 cup sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown.
