Dried Apple Pie

45 minutes pie pan Soak dried apples for 4 hours
3 cups water boiling
3 3ups apples dried
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 Tbl butter
dash salt
2 Tbl flour
2 unbaked pie crusts
1 Tbl milk
sugar

Pour boiling water over dried apples, and let soak 3 to 4 hours: drain. Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Pour apple mixture into crust, dot with butter. Cover with second crust. Flute edges, prick pie crust. Spread about 1 Tablespoon milk on crust and spread with fingers, or pastry brush, wipe off excess, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
