Dried Apple Pie

Soak dried apples for 4 hours

sugar
Pour boiling water over dried apples, and let soak 3 to 4 hours: drain. Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg
and salt. Pour apple mixture into crust, dot with butter. Cover with second crust. Flute edges, prick pie
crust. Spread about 1 Tablespoon milk on crust and spread with fingers, or pastry brush, wipe off excess,
sprinkle with sugar. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
