Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

1 hour 30 minutes 350 degrees 13 x 9 greased
3 Tbl butter
3 Tbl flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 15 oz can chicken broth
6 pork chops 3/4 inch cut
2 Tbl cooking oil
salt & pepper to taste
6 cups Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium onion sliced

Grease 13 x 9 pan. In a sauce pan melt butter, stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth, cook, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Cook for 1 minute, remove from heat and set aside. In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil, season to taste with salt and pepper. Layer potatoes and onion in 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Pour broth mixture over potatoes and place pork chops on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, uncover and bake 30 minutes more or until potatoes are tender.
