Braised Apples and Red Cabbage

25 minutes Covered sauté pan
2 Tbl canola oil
1 apple granny smith peeled, cored and cubed
1 pint apple juice unfiltered
1/4 tsp caraway seed
1 1/2 tsp salt
pepper ground
1/2 head red cabbage shredded

Heat oil in pan over medium heat, add apple and cook until lightly browned. Increase heat to high, add remaining ingredients. Cover and toss to coat, reduce heat to low and cook 20 minutes.
