Side Dish (Vegetable )

Chard sautéed with garlic

2 medium bunches chard
2 Tbl Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic sliced thin
1/4 tsp chili flake
salt
1 1/2 Tbl red wine vinegar or juice of 1 lemon

Remove stems of chard and cut into 1/2 inch pieces, coarsely chop leaves, rinse well, do not dry. Sauté garlic in olive oil over medium heat until garlic begins to color, add chard stems. When stems are nearly tender add leaves, cook 3 to 5 minutes more. Season with lemon or vinegar, and salt to taste. Serve with lemon wedges.
