Swiss Chard

20 min Large Sauce Pan 2 servings
1 bunch Chard
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 bunch green onions chopped
1 fresh lemon
to taste salt & pepper
water
butter

Thoroughly wash swiss chard and trim ends. Place 1 1/2 - 2 inches of water in bottom of sauce pan. Place swiss chard, chopped garlic, chopped onions, salt, pepper and lemon slices in pan. Reserve 2 slices and the one end of the lemon. Boil until the stems of the swiss chard become tender. When done remove swiss chard with tongs and place on plate. Squeeze the juice of the lemon end onto the chard, place 1-2 pats of butter on top and garnish with lemon slice.
