Cream of Asparagus Soup

chicken bouillon
Cook asparagus in 1 cup water until tender, drain. Reserve liquid. Sauté onion in butter, stir in flour, salt,
pepper, and cook over medium heat for 1 minute. Stir in milk. Add 1 additional cup of water and reserved
liquid and bouillon. Cook, stirring with wire whisk till thick. Makes 6 servings.
