Chocolate Macaroonies

10 -12 minutes Pre-heat oven to 350 cookie sheet Chill 15 minutes
1 Devils Food Cake Mix
1 cup coconut toasted
1/2 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup margarine melted
2 tsps vanilla
2 eggs beaten
4 1.2 oz milk chocolate candy bars

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except candy bars and 1/2 cup coconut, blend well. Chill 15 minutes. Form into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until cracked and soft to touch. If desired, immediately place chocolate square on top of each cookie, spread to frost. Sprinkle with coconut. Makes 40 cookies. Tip: To toast coconut, and rolled oats, bake at 350 degrees for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring once. For chewier cookies, omit toasting coconut & oats.
