Carolina Crab Cakes

1 lb lump crab meat
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup green onions sliced
1/3 cup bell peppers
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 large eggs slightly beaten
1 tsp old bay seasoning
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp lemon juice
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Drain crab meat. Mix together all ingredients except breadcrumbs, meat and oil. Add breadcrumbs and let sit 5 minutes. Add more breadcrumbs until it has the same consistancy as the drained crab meat. Gently mix in crab meat, hands work great for this. Form into balls and drip in heated oil, flattening into patties once in pan. Fry 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Serve on bed of greens with remoulade sauce - 1/4 cup Mayo, 1 Tbl Lemon Juice, 1 tsp Hot Sauce, 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning.
