Mexican Border Casserole

1 1/2 hours Pre-heat oven to 300 Large casserole Use large skillet
1 4oz can mushrooms
1 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 medium onion chopped
1 jar pimentos
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbl chili powder
dash hot pepper sauce
1 Tbl flour
1 small Green Peppers chopped
1/2 cup stuffed olives
2 cups cheddar cheese
2 cups corn chips
salt & pepper

Brown beef with garlic powder. Add mushrooms and their liquid (1/4 cup). Add onion, pimiento, tomatoes sauce, chili powder and pepper sauce. Heat well. Blend flour and 2 Tablespoons water, stir into mixture. Add green pepper, olives, salt and pepper. In deep casserole dish, layer meat mixture, cheese and corn chips, then repeat ending with corn chips. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
