Polish Gingerbread

2 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp baking soda
3 Tbl water
1 cup honey
3 cups all purpose flour
4 oz chocolate chips
4 oz butter
1 Tbl water

Beat eggs and sugar until light and lemon colored, add spices. Mix baking soda with water and add to egg mixture, add honey, mix well. Mix in flour gradually until a stiff dough forms, shape into a ball and allow to rest 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into shapes. Bake 10 minutes until lightly browned, cool completely. Icing Microwave all ingredients 20 seconds at a time until almost completely melted, stir to combine. Use immediately.
