Side Dish (Rice )

Sushi Rice

320 grams rice sushi, 1.5 cups
410 ml water 1.75 cups

Wash the rice. Pour the rice in a colander over a bowl, fill the bowl with water through the rice, rub the grains together to wash them. When the water is milky opaque, remove the colander and empty the bowl. Repeat this until the water stays clean, about 4 or 5 times. Dry the rice. Allow the rice to drain over the empty bowl about 30 minutes. Soak the rice. Put the cleaned and dried rice in the pot and add the 410 ml of water. Allow to soak for 30 min to 1 hour. Cook the rice. Cover the pot with a tight lid and put over medium heat, leave it alone for 12 minutes. Any peeking and the time increases. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 10 to 20 minutes. Stir the rice and serve as desired.
