beef broth
2 Tbl butter
2 Tbl flour
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or half and half
1 tsp beef bouillon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
salt & pepper
Simmer meatballs in beef broth to defrost and heat through, remove meatballs and reserve broth. In another
pan make a roux of butter and flour, add beef broth and cream to make gravy, season with nutmeg, salt and
pepper. Return meatballs to gravy and warm completely.
Use the bouillon to up the beef flavor if necessary by dissolving it in the broth before making the gravy.
